World-Washed

Children are SO amazing. I get to see this in action every day with 4 of my own. This week one of my sons saw a beautiful sunset with sunrays streaming through the clouds and said, "I wish that was Jesus coming in the clouds to take us home." I think that children have not been "world-washed" and are able to connect to God in a way that is elusive to us sometimes. You know the saying, "Stop and smell the roses." I think that we should change it to, "Stop and experience the world through a child's eyes, ears, nose and touch."
